“Pla Seqüència” is a unique television program on La 2Cat, hosted by Jordi Basté, that embraces transparency, authenticity, and narrative risk. Each episode is a real, fluid conversation with a guest, filmed in a single continuous take of approximately 55-57 minutes, without any cuts or editing. The program’s crew accompanies the protagonist wherever they choose to open their doors—whether an intimate, professional, or symbolic space—turning the viewer into a kind of voyeur, a privileged witness to a fragment of life.
Directed by Oriol Bosch, the program has a technical team consisting of Paco Amate, Núria Font, Anna Camps, Pau Mitjans, and Berta Codina.
Filming 12 episodes of nearly one hour in a single-take shot, with no possibility of cuts or margin for error, requires lightweight, versatile, and reliable technical equipment. To achieve this, the “Pla Seqüència” team trusted AVisual PRO for the rental of the DJI Ronin 4D-6K Full Combo, GoPro Hero 12, Cooke SP3 lenses, and all the monitoring and storage systems necessary to accompany the protagonist between locations without losing a single second of recording.
We interviewed Oriol Bosch, director and producer of “Pla Seqüència,” the La 2Cat program hosted by Jordi Basté, which films interviews in a single continuous take without cuts or editing.
What does the project you’re working on consist of?
We’re producing 12 episodes for La 2CAT—12 interviews in a single-take shot. They’re 57 minutes of non-stop interview.
What role has the rented equipment, such as the DJI Ronin 4D, played in achieving this format?
This has been made possible by the technical innovation of the DJI 4D camera, because it’s a very compact camera that allows us to constantly change hands, that allows us to mount it on different supports, whether car mounts, Ferris wheels, or… boats.
What would you highlight about AVisual’s service?
We’re happy, we’re very happy. Whenever there’s been an email, a question, it’s always been answered. And very well, truly, very well.
