Good things come to those who wait. Yes, we now have for rent the long-awaited   <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/tienda\/sony-pxw-fx9\/\"><b>Sony FX9<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/en\/categoria-producto\/cameras\/digital-cinema\/canon-en\/\"><b>digital cinema camera<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that has become the new gold standard of the Sony range with its respective predecessors, recalling the <\/span><b>Sony FS7<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as the best-selling in this line. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Designed with the best technology from VENICE and A9, the new FX9 has approximately the same \u201cshoot and run\u201d style body as its predecessor FS7, but with some notable improvements. Let&#8217;s see which ones.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/disenada-con-la-mejor-tecnologia-de-la-venice-y-la-a9-1024x494.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Sensor<\/h2>\n<p>Unlike the FS7, the Sony FX9 records in full frame, and in 6K*. The asterisk here means that Sony claims 6K, but in reality, the sensor is a downgraded version of 6K that provides the user with an improved version of 4K that is much sharper than any other 4K image. Sony claims that the Exmor R sensor provides more than 15 stops of dynamic range and has a dual ISO at 800 and 4000. (The Venice&#8217;s dual ISO is 500 and 2500, respectively).   <\/p>\n<p>The FX9 includes S-Log3 and S-Gamut 3 Cine, but Sony has added a new color science called S-Cinetone, which is said to have a more accurate color gamut and skin tones for an improved cinematic look. Like the FS7, the Sony FX9 is on the list of Netflix-approved cameras. If you want to see the rest of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/camaras-de-cine-aprobadas-netflix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">digital cinema cameras approved by Netflix<\/a>, click on the link.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/sony-fx9-sensor-exmor-r-1024x494.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Advanced Extension Unit<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond its success with the \u201cfull-frame\u201d feature, there&#8217;s the FX9&#8217;s extension unit, called XDCA-FX9. This extension unit allows for RAW output with up to 16 bits, D-tap, Ethernet, 4-pin Hirose DC output, DWX slot-type audio, and the ability to use V-Lock batteries. This extension unit is basically the \u201cHulk\u201d version of the Sony FS7.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>High-Tech ND Filters<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, the FX9 also has an advanced version of the FS7&#8217;s variable ND filter mode. The FX9&#8217;s is an electronic version that can be controlled from a dial on the side of the camera. Next to this filter dial are other dials that can control white balance, audio settings, iris control, shutter, etc. These dials eliminate the FS7 user&#8217;s search through the menu for similar functions, saving time. The dials also look great.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/sony-fx9-filtros-nd-1024x494.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Built-in Wi-Fi<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another great aspect of the FX9 is its Wi-Fi image transmission that&#8217;s integrated into the camera. Yes, you might wonder: what&#8217;s the Wi-Fi for? Actually, you can use a smartphone and view the filmed images through an app with only 1 second of delay. This can be especially useful for those who are tight on budget when it comes to buying or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avisualpro.es\/en\/rental-equipment\/monitors-recorders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>renting a <\/strong><\/a>    <\/span><strong>monitor<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or for anyone who wants the convenience of using their phone as a monitor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Super Autofocus<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, one of the most interesting features of the new FX9 is its hybrid and fast autofocus. It not only relies on contrast (like in the FS7) but can use phase detection in addition to its extremely fast autofocus (unlike the FS7, which didn&#8217;t have good autofocus AT ALL). Beyond autofocus capabilities, the Sony FX9&#8217;s face detection autofocus is incredible. In fact, you can choose which face you want the camera to focus on, and the camera will remain locked on that face until you choose otherwise.
